Biography
Prior to pursuing her law degree, Kathleen Chassion managed Fig Garden Swim & Racquet Club in Fresno, CA for six years. Fig Garden is an exclusive member-owned tennis and swim club in “Old Fig Garden” in Fresno. Ms. Chassion returned to the Monterey Peninsula to pursue her law degree and has spent her entire 19 year plus legal career defending employers and worker’s compensation insurance carriers.

More About Kathleen
Ms. Chassion taught tennis at Chamisal Tennis Club while attending night school and Monterey College of Law. She received a final class ranking of #3 in her class for academic excellence and went on to pass the Calfornia State Bar Examination. While awaiting the results, Ms. Chassion accepted a paralegal position at the Law Offices of Hanna, Brophy, MacLean, McAleer & Jensen specializing in workers’ compensation defense and was subsequently hired as an Associate Attorney. She left Hanna, Brophy in May 2008 to join Luna, Levering & Holmes, who also specialize in workers’ compensation defense.
Ms. Chassion became a workers’ compensation specialist January 1, 2007, and has devoted her entire legal career to defending workers’ compensation claims.
Current clients include: City of Salinas, County of Monterey, Hyatt Regency, and numerous School Districts.
Ms. Chassion lives on the Monterey Peninsula with her husband of 20 years and two daughters. Kathleen and her husband, Michael, have two daughters, Michaela and Anna. She loves playing tennis, reading, and spending time with family.
